Since his first breath underwater, a mere 30 years ago, Mario Vitalini has been hooked on scuba diving and underwater photography. He’s passionate about sharing the knowledge and expertise he’s gained from his years diving around the globe, working as a PADI instructor and dive guide. From his desk at the Scuba Travel offices, or on the dive deck during a workshop, he loves to teach and is well known for his patient approach. He also loves to edit images, and can normally be found messing about on his computer. As well as contributing regularly with articles in Scuba Diver, Mario’s images have won several awards, including Most Promising British Underwater Photographer in 2015.

Mario runs regular overseas workshops as part of the Scuba Travel photo team. They are open to all experience levels, but in particular will suit anyone using a compact or mirrorless camera set up. If you need some help getting to grips with your camera underwater, Mario’s your man. Mario tailors the tips and techniques to your needs, both on the surface and underwater. Improve your skills in a relaxed setting. Trips run throughout the year. Make 2020 the year you start taking better photos.

Mario will be on the Underwater Photography Stage at the GO Diving Show – book your tickets now!
